Volleyball Recap: The Gregory School's Winning Streak Snapped at Six Games

If The Gregory School was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Valley Union on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Hawks came up short against the St. David Tigers on Friday, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on October 8th.

The Gregory School took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-16, 25-17.

Emerson Myers paced The Gregory School's offense, picking up six kills. Myers got some help from Lauren Horowitz and her nine assists. Finally, Zoe Morgan kept The Gregory School's defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.
