The Kingston Cardinals are taking a road trip to face off against the Ubly Bearcats at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Kingston is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.5 runs per game this season.

Kingston came out on top against Caro on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive eight-run seventh inning. The Cardinals took their matchup against the Tigers 13-8.

Chesaney Wenzlaff spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned (and four unearned) runs on 12 hits and racked up six Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Kingston got a massive performance out of Grace McGarvie, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and one double. Lauren Krug was another key player, going 3-for-4 with three RBI, one triple, and one run.

Millington hit Ubly with a six-run fourth inning on Monday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Bearcats lost 14-2 to the Cardinals. Having soared to a lofty 18 runs in the game before, the Bearcats couldn't push the score so high this time.

Ubly's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Kingston, the win got them back to even at 2-2.
