Valencia won the last time they faced Costa Mesa and things went their way on Thursday too. The Tigers were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Mustangs. The win was nothing new for the Tigers as they're now sitting on five straight.

While Valencia might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Costa Mesa scored at least 20 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-22, 26-24.

Valencia's victory bumped their record up to 14-6-2. As for Costa Mesa, their loss ended a three-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-15.

Coming up, Valencia will welcome Katella at 4:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Costa Mesa, they will venture away from home to face off against Tustin at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
