Basketball Game Preview: Pocatello Thunder vs. Rigby Trojans

The Pocatello Thunder will face off against the Rigby Trojans at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Pocatello is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Hillcrest just ended the team's eight-game winning streak dating back to last season on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Knights by a score of 50-47.

Meanwhile, Rigby put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They put the hurt on Blackfoot with a sharp 69-47 win.

Rigby's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Pocatello, their defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 1-1.

Pocatello came up short against Rigby in their previous meeting back in February of 2016, falling 59-52. Can Pocatello avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
