Tonkawa got a massive performance out of Westyn Freeman, who got on base in five of his six plate appearances with three doubles, three RBI, and one stolen base. Meanwhile, Wednesday just wasn't the day for Blackwell's offense. They lost 10-0 to Crossings Christian on Wednesday. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Maroons haven't been shut out since back in March.

Tonkawa pushed their record up to 16-7 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.3 runs over those games. As for Blackwell, their loss dropped their record down to 4-16.

Tonkawa skirted past Blackwell 11-9 in their previous meeting back in March. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Buccaneers since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
