Fredonia had already won nine in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 33.2 points) and they went ahead and made it ten on Thursday. They blew past the Hutchinson-Central Tech Engineers 40-12. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 40-12.

Leading Fredonia to victory were Madelyn Polhamus and Natalia DiPalma. Polhamus picked up 70 receiving yards and three TDs, while DiPalma gained 92 total yards and a touchdown. Polhamus also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making five total tackles and defending two passes. Nora Polhamus got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Fredonia didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Polhamus and Brianna Whitfield. Whitfield has been hot recently, having also posted at least one defended passe the last three times she's played. She got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Fredonia's victory was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-1. The home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 43.1 points over those games. As for Hutchinson-Central Tech, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.

Fredonia does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hutchinson-Central Tech, they will head out to face off against Orchard Park at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Quakers' defense has only allowed 8.1 points per game this season, so the Engineers' offense will have their work cut out for them.
