Soccer Game Preview: Great Falls vs. Governor's School for Science & Math

The Great Falls Red Devils will head out on the road to take on the Governor's School for Science & Math Eagles at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Great Falls' offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Great Falls' offense. They came up short against Chester on Tuesday, falling 7-0.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Governor's School for Science & Math, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They never let Lewisville get on the board and left with a 4-0 win on Thursday. Governor's School for Science & Math have beaten Lewisville the last four times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest Lewisville has come to flipping the script.

Governor's School for Science & Math's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Great Falls, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-8.

Great Falls suffered a grim 11-0 defeat to Governor's School for Science & Math when the teams last played back in March. Can the Red Devils avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
