Soccer Game Preview: Devon Prep vs. Lewisburg

The Devon Prep Tide are taking a road trip to challenge the Lewisburg Green Dragons at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Devon Prep sitting on three straight victories and Lewisburg on 14.

Devon Prep is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Palisades as they made off with a 5-1 win. Devon Prep might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matchups by three goals or more this season.

Lake-Lehman typically has all the answers at home, but on Tuesday Lewisburg proved too difficult a challenge. They had just enough and edged out the Knights 3-2. Given Lewisburg's advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked fourth, while Lake-Lehman are ranked 28th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Viktor Permyashkin and Keegan Crosby scored all three of Lewisburg's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 35 goals.

Devon Prep's victory bumped their record up to 15-5-1. As for Lewisburg, their win bumped their record up to 21-0-1.
