Football Recap: Strong Performance on D from Peyton Wylie and Jadyn Johnson Leads Central Dauphin over Chambersburg + How To Watch

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Harrisburg, Central Dauphin was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They came out on top against the Chambersburg Trojans by a score of 28-20. That's more bragging rights for the Rams, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Isaac Hodgson was nothing short of spectacular: he rushed for 120 yards and three TDs. Those 120 rushing yards gave him a new career-high. Speaking of playmakers, who could forget Jadyn Johnson, who went all the way with a kickoff return for a touchdown.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Central Dauphin was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 247 rushing yards. They are a perfect 4-0 when they've run for more than 200 yards.

Central Dauphin didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Peyton Wylie and Johnson.

Central Dauphin's record is now 4-6. As for Chambersburg, this is the second loss in a row for them and also nudges their season record down to 4-6.

Looking ahead, Central Dauphin will challenge Cumberland Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles' defense has only allowed 14.1 points per game this season, so the Rams' offense will have their work cut out for them. Chambersburg does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
