Round Valley entered their tilt with Fountain Hills on Tuesday with six consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with seven. They blew past the Falcons 14-8. Considering the Elks have won 16 matchups by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Brenton Walker was excellent, going 3-for-4 with three stolen bases, two triples, and three RBI. He has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last six times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jeffery Cochran, who went 2-for-4 with one home run and two RBI.

Round Valley always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .591. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .591 or higher in four consecutive contests.

Round Valley's record is now 20-4. As for Fountain Hills, their loss dropped their record down to 13-10.

Coming up, Round Valley will head out to square off against St. Johns at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. The Elks' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Redskins have averaged an impressive 6.5 runs per game this season.
