Volleyball Recap: Avant Garde Academy Wins Going Away Against Cristo Rey

The Avant Garde Academy Sharks got the win against the Cristo Rey Monarchs on Monday by a conclusive 3-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Sharks.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Avant Garde Academy was: they took every set by at least 15 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-6, 25-5, 25-10.

Avant Garde Academy's win bumped their record up to 14-2. As for Cristo Rey, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-7.

Coming up, Avant Garde Academy will head out on the road to challenge Academy for Innovative Education at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Cristo Rey does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
