Volleyball Recap: Pioneer Charter School of Science Makes It Five in a Row on the Road

Pioneer Charter School of Science proved they can win big on Thursday (they won by three) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Excel Academy Charter Wolves, sneaking past 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Panthers have posted since April 12, 2024.

Pioneer Charter School of Science had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 17-25, 19-25, 25-20, 25-21, 15-10.

Patrick Dang paced Pioneer Charter School of Science's offense, picking up 14 kills. Dang got some help from Miguel Silva and his 14 assists. Finally, Matteo Rosa kept Pioneer Charter School of Science's defense grounded, leading the team with six blocks.
