Preview: Central City Value Jaguars vs. Animo Bunche Stallions
Central City Value is 10-0 against Animo Bunche since December of 2017, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Central City Value Jaguars will be playing in front of their home fans against the Animo Bunche Stallions at 2:00 p.m. Hopefully Central City Value focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 15 on Friday.
Last Friday, Central City Value's game was all tied up 17-17 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They took down Annenberg 41-27. The victory was just what Central City Value needed coming off of a 96-38 loss in their prior match.
Angel Marcial and Andy Lobos were among the main playmakers for Central City Value as the former scored 16 points along with seven rebounds and three steals and the latter scored 21 points along with six steals and five rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which Marcial has scored at least 25% of Central City Value's points.
Meanwhile, Animo Bunche was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Thursday as they fell 43-39 to Aspire Ollin. Animo Bunche has struggled against Aspire Ollin recently, as their matchup on Thursday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
Central City Value's win bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Animo Bunche, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record this season.
Central City Value was able to grind out a solid win over Animo Bunche in their previous matchup back in February, winning 45-36. Will Central City Value repeat their success, or does Animo Bunche have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
