Camden Military was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They were beaten by the Northside Christian Academy Crusaders 48-14. The Spartans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Crusaders apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2023.
Sam Burks was his usual excellent self, rushing for 193 yards and three touchdowns on only 15 carries for Northside Christian Academy. With that strong performance, Burks is now averaging an impressive 104.4 rushing yards per game. Another back making a difference was J.R. Kinard, who rushed for 104 yards on only eight carries.
Camden Military's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Northside Christian Academy, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-1.
