Palmer Ridge took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Friday. They claimed a resounding 42-14 win over the Ponderosa Mustangs. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Bears had established a 21-point advantage.

Jackson Mabe was nothing short of spectacular: he rushed for 189 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 9.5 yards per carry. Those 189 rushing yards gave him a new career-high. Zak Crisler also helped out with an impressive 86 receiving yards.
