Recap: Simsboro Tigers vs. Downsville Demons
In what's become a running theme this season, the Simsboro Tigers gave their fans yet another huge victory on Friday. They claimed a resounding 74-29 victory over Downsville on the road. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 50-12.
Despite the loss, Downsville still got an impressive performance from Charles Vick, who scored 14 points along with five rebounds. Vick is trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for three games straight.
Simsboro is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 22-12 record this season. As for Downsville, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-25.
Simsboro will head out on the road to face off against Castor at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Simsboro has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 761 points over their last ten contests. Downsville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
