Basketball Recap: Sioux Central Takes a Loss

After flying high against Storm Lake St. Mary on Tuesday, Sioux Central came back down to earth. The Rebels were just a bucket shy of victory on Thursday and fell 60-59 to the Spencer Tigers. The Rebels were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2025.

Sioux Central's defeat dropped their record down to 14-5. As for Spencer, they now have a winning record of 9-8.

Sioux Central didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 76-69 loss against Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire on the 6th. As for Spencer, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 56-45 defeat against Storm Lake on the 6th.
