Basketball Recap: Faith Christian Academy Takes Loss Despite Strong Efforts from Adriana Perry and Caroline Taylor

Faith Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost to the Community Christian Cyclones at home by a 39-23 margin. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cyclones this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 44-36 back in December of 2024.

Despite the loss, Faith Christian Academy had strong showings from Caroline Taylor, who posted nine points and five boards, and Adriana Perry, who put up seven points and five rebounds. Those seven points gave Perry a new career-high.

Community Christian found their leader in freshman Autumn Bradshaw, who went 8-for-16 to rack up 21 points and three steals. Community Christian is 3-1 when Bradshaw posts 15 or more points, but 5-8 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Claire Carter, who scored six points and six steals.

Faith Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Community Christian, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-9.

Faith Christian Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 64-17 loss against Trinity Christian on the 7th. As for Community Christian, they have also already played their next contest, a 42-30 defeat against Gramercy Christian on the 10th.
