Volleyball Recap: Park Hill South Takes a Loss

If Park Hill South was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Central on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Panthers came up short against the Liberty Blue Jays on Saturday, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Panthers have suffered since October 29, 2024.

While Park Hill South was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Liberty's winning margin in every set. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-20, 25-23.

Sydni Lafasciano paced Park Hill South's offense, picking up nine kills. Lafasciano were helped by Devree Coughlin and Ellie Gibbs, who contributed nine assists each. Gibbs was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.
