Softball Recap: Westran Hornets vs. Fayette Falcons
Westran was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 11-7 to the Fayette Falcons. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Hornets of the 18-3 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture last Monday.
Ryann Derboven made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with a home run and four RBI.
Westran's loss dropped their record down to 13-15. As for Fayette, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 16-8.
As of now, neither Westran nor Fayette have any future games scheduled.
