While Martin put up plenty of runs on Friday, the same can't be said for Grand Prairie. Martin blew past Grand Prairie 11-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 15-3 last Tuesday.

The victory made it two in a row for Martin and bumps their season record up to 7-9-1. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 3 runs in those games. As for Grand Prairie, they dropped their record down to 2-13 with the loss, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Martin will challenge rival Bowie at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Martin 3.8, Bowie 3.7) so any runs scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Grand Prairie is set to take on their familiar foe Haltom at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
