Saxony Lutheran entered their tilt with Puxico on Tuesday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They never let the Indians get on the board and left with a 10-0 win. The Crusaders might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine contests by ten runs or more this season.

Zach Roth was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out nine over four innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in eight consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and one RBI.

In other batting news, Cole Roth was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two doubles, two RBI, and one run. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was James Hope, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

Saxony Lutheran pushed their record up to 14-7 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Puxico, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Saxony Lutheran will head out to take on Kelly at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Puxico, they will venture away from home to challenge Charleston at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday.
