Basketball Recap: Palisades Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Palisades can now relate to. They received a blow on Saturday as they fell 63-45 to the San Gabriel Academy Eagles.

Palisades' defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 21-12. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.6 points over those games. As for San Gabriel Academy, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 19-13.

Palisades does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for San Gabriel Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Maranatha at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Maranatha's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last seven matchups.
