Estacada proved they can win big last Saturday (they won by ten) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out the Stayton Eagles 11-10. With that victory, the Rangers brought their scoring average up to 6.5 runs per game.

Dane Carpenter and Davin Olson did most of the damage at the plate: Carpenter scored two runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances, while Olson scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4.

Estacada now has a winning record of 3-2-1. As for Stayton, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.

Looking ahead, Estacada will take on Astoria at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Stayton, they will face off against St. Helens at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
