             Canutillo won the last time they faced Austin, and things went their way  on Tuesday too. The Canutillo Eagles put the hurt on the Austin Panthers with a sharp  3-0 win. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for the Eagles.
 Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Canutillo took every set by at least 14 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-5, 25-11,  25-11.
 Canutillo had a senior duo take command as  Andrea Guerrero  had eight  aces and four  digs and  Xochitl Apodaca  had 15  digs and seven  aces. The dominant performance gave  Apodaca a new career-high in  aces.
 Canutillo  was lethal from the service line and  finished the game with 27  aces. That's the most  aces they've managed all season.
 Canutillo's victory was  their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 13-17. As for Austin,  they are  on  a  five-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 2-18.
 Canutillo will head out to  take on Andress  at 6:30  p.m.  on Friday. Andress will roll in looking for their  fourth straight  win, something Canutillo surely won't give up without a fight. As for Austin, they will face off against Harmony Science Academy at 6:30  p.m.  on Friday. Austin is facing Harmony Science Academy at the right time seeing as Harmony Science Academy is stuck on  a  four-game losing streak.
