Basketball Recap: Stringtown Takes a Loss

Stringtown lost against Red Oak back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Stringtown Tigers took a blow against the Red Oak Eagles, falling 72-24. The match marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Stringtown has traveled a rocky road recently having lost 11 of their last 13 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-14 record this season. As for Red Oak, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 17-4.

Stringtown has already played their next match (against Mill Creek), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Red Oak will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Warner at 7:30 p.m. on February 10th.
