Camarillo came tearing into Tuesday's match with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.6 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with an 11-8 victory over the Royal Highlanders. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 13-3 two weeks ago.

Camarillo got a massive performance out of Cali Howe, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, one triple, and two RBI. That's the most RBI Howe has posted since back in March. Alianna Rodriguez was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Camarillo always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .588. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Royal only posted an OBP of .406.

Camarillo pushed their record up to 19-3 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Royal, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-9.

Camarillo didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 5-4 defeat against Simi Valley on the 30th. As for Royal, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Santa Paula on the 30th.
