Basketball Recap: Parkland Falls to William Allen in First Game of Season

Parkland had to start their season on the road on Monday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They took a 55-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of the William Allen Canaries. The Trojans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Canaries apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Parkland is set to take on their familiar foe Freedom at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, William Allen will challenge rival Bethlehem Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup will give the Canaries their first taste of in-conference action this season.
