Soccer Recap: Fountain-Fort Carson Comes Up Short

Fountain-Fort Carson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the Liberty Lancers. The matchup was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but Fountain-Fort Carson couldn't quite close it out.

Fountain-Fort Carson now has a losing record of 5-6-2. As for Liberty, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-4.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Fountain-Fort Carson will face off against rival Pueblo West at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Liberty is set to square off against their familiar foe Rampart at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
