Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Queen City). They came out on top against the New Boston Lions by a score of 14-9 on Friday. The win continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their matchups with the Lions: they've now won six in a row.

The victory got Queen City back to even at 6-6-1. As for New Boston, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-11.

Looking ahead, Queen City will be playing in front of their home fans against Redwater at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for New Boston, they will challenge Hooks at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. New Boston has given up an average of 9.1 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.
