Baseball Recap: Wadley Takes a Loss

Wadley lost against Dadeville back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Wadley Bulldogs lost 19-7 to the Dadeville Tigers. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Mason Wilkerson was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Logan Murr, who scored two runs while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances.

Wadley now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Dadeville, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Looking ahead, Wadley will head out on the road to take on Randolph County at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Dadeville, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Tigers take on the Cougars at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
