Cohoes extends home losing streak to four

Recap: Cohoes Tigers vs. La Salle Institute Cadets
On Tuesday, it was a hard-fought match, but Cohoes had to settle for a 37-35 loss against La Salle Institute.
La Salle Institute found their leader in underclassman Moira Galuski, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 13 rebounds. That's the first time this season that Galuski pulled down eight or more rebounds. Kate Gilooly was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with five rebounds.
Cohoes' defeat was their fourth straight at home, which bumped their record down to 2-5. As for La Salle Institute, their win bumped their record up to 2-3.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cohoes will be home for the holidays to greet Albany Academy for Girls at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Albany Academy for Girls' favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season. La Salle Institute will be home for the holidays to greet Catholic Central at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Catholic Central will be coming into the contest with an undefeated record on the line.
