Basketball Game Preview: Hillsboro Indians vs. Washington Blue Lions

The Hillsboro Indians will face off against the Washington Blue Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Hillsboro is headed into the match having just suffered their biggest loss since January 6, 2024 on Saturday. They came up short against Fairland, falling 63-42. While losing is never fun, the Indians can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 376th, while the Dragons are ranked 42nd).

Meanwhile, Washington can bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They walked away with a 56-47 win over McClain.

Hillsboro better keep an eye on Noah Haithcock. He was instrumental in Washington's win, going 7 of 11 en route to 20 points in addition to three steals and three blocks. Jeston Everhart was another key player, putting up 14 points.

Hillsboro's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Washington, the victory got them back to even at 8-8.
