Softball Recap: Knightstown Takes a Loss

Thursday just wasn't the day for Knightstown's offense. They lost 10-0 to the Connersville Spartans on Thursday. The Panthers haven't had much luck with the Spartans recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Knightstown now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Connersville, they have been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 13 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season.

Knightstown will host Franklin County at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. The Panthers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Wildcats have averaged an impressive 9.8 runs per game this season. As for Connersville, they will face off against Lawrenceburg at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Spartans' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Tigers have averaged an impressive 8.1 runs per game this season.
