Baseball Recap: Norwood Comes Up Short

Norwood fought the good fight in their extra-innings matchup against Westwood on Wednesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Wolverines by a score of 6-5. The Mustangs haven't had much luck with the Wolverines recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Caden Sheehan was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run while going 3-for-3. Jaden Moreno also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Norwood's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Westwood, the win keeps they at an undefeated 4-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Norwood will face off against Natick at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Westwood, they will challenge Hopkinton at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
