Volleyball Recap: Bakersfield Comes Up Short

Bakersfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Couch Indians, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Indians this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in August.

Bakersfield's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Couch, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 14 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-6-1 record this season.

Bakersfield will square off against Summersville at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Couch, they have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Winona on the 26th.
