Northridge won the last time they faced Woods Cross, and Cael Lake did his part to make sure it happened again. The Northridge Knights sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 68-65 victory over the Woods Cross Wildcats on Wednesday thanks in part to Lake, who shot 4-for-7 from deep and dropped a double-double with 24 points and 11 rebounds. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.

Daniel Sunkuli was another key player, going 6-for-9 on his way to 16 points. He is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 57% in the last four games he's played.

Northridge's record now sits at 8-14. As for Woods Cross, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-9.

Coming up, Northridge will face off against Bonneville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Northridge is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 62.5 points per game this season. As for Woods Cross, they will square off against Bountiful at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Bountiful will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Woods Cross surely won't give up without a fight.
