Eastern Hancock had lost three straight, but after bumping their record up to 2-3 on Friday that streak is in the rearview. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Knightstown Panthers 58-20. The Royals' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Mark Kube had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 219 yards and four TDs while picking up 9.1 yards per carry. That's the most rushing touchdowns he has posted since back in October of 2024. Another player making a difference was Elijah Edon, who threw for 186 yards and three touchdowns while completing 79.2% of his passes.

Eastern Hancock's run defense was locked in: Knightstown could only muster -0.2 yards per carry. The team can thank Luke Manship for the heroic effort on defense: he. The dominant display was nothing new: Eastern Hancock has now limited their opponent to fewer and fewer yards per carry in three consecutive matchups.

Knightstown's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Brody Willard, who picked up 108 receiving yards and one score. Carmichael was another key passer, throwing for 199 yards and a pair of TDs.

Eastern Hancock wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 52-0 victory against Park Tudor on the 26th. As for Knightstown, they have also already played their next game, an 89-0 win against Cambridge City Lincoln on the 26th.
