Softball Recap: Patrician Academy Takes a Loss

Patrician Academy had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell just short of the Ezekiel Academy Knights by a score of 5-4 on Friday.

Mallory Coody made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with three RBI, one triple, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Reagan Moye, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

The win (which was Ezekiel Academy's seventh in a row) raised their record to 11-4.

Looking ahead, Patrician Academy will be taking part in a tournament against Snook Christian Academy at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Ezekiel Academy, they will square off against Jackson Academy at 4:45 p.m. on Friday. Ezekiel Academy is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.9 runs per game this season.
