Volleyball Recap: Anacostia Comes Up Short

Anacostia lost against School Without Walls back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Indians fell 2-0 to the Penguins.

The final score came out to 25-7, 25-6.

School Without Walls was led to victory by Elle Ericsson-White and Eva Peres Da Camara. Ericsson-White had six aces and three assists, while Peres Da Camara had five aces. That's the most assists Ericsson-White has posted over her last seven matchups.

Anacostia dropped their record down to 5-8 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight at home. As for School Without Walls, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-5 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Anacostia will venture away from home to square off against Eastern at 11:15 a.m. on Saturday. As for School Without Walls, they will take on Georgetown Day at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
