Volleyball Recap: Keltie Deer and Reese Booms Secure Win for Harbor Beach

After losing to Almont the last time they met, Harbor Beach decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Pirates came out on top against the Raiders by a score of 2-0 on Saturday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Pirates.

Leading Harbor Beach to victory were Reese Booms and Keltie Deer. Booms had 23 digs and one assist, while Deer had eight digs and six assists. Booms is crushing it when it comes to digs: she's had at least 11 every time she's taken the court this season.

Harbor Beach now has a winning record of 5-4-3. As for Almont, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Harbor Beach has already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Port Huron Northern on the 6th. As for Almont, they will square off against Yale at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
