Soccer Recap: Lakewood Takes a Loss

Lakewood lost against North Duplin back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Leopards came up short against the Rebels, falling 9-0. That's two games in a row now that Lakewood have lost by exactly nine goals.

This is the second loss in a row for Lakewood and nudges their season record down to 1-12. As for North Duplin, they moved to 6-4 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Looking ahead, Lakewood will square off against Hobbton at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Lakewood will need to watch out since Hobbton have now posted at least four goals in their last three games. As for North Duplin, they will host Union at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
