Recap: Osborne vs. Marietta
The Osborne Cardinals won the last time they faced the Marietta Blue Devils, and things went their way on Friday too. Osborne put the hurt on Marietta with a sharp 4-1 win. Porfirio Carrasco had the honor of scoring the game-winner for Osborne.
Osborne's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Marietta, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Osborne will face off against McEachern at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Marietta, they will head out on the road to take on Creekview at 8:00 p.m. on Monday. Marietta's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.
