Baseball Recap: Dexter Comes Up Short

Dexter blew Kennett out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Monday Kennett got their revenge. The Bearcats fell just short of the Indians by a score of 2-0. The Bearcats were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Indians earlier this season, when they won 11-2.

Dexter saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nolan Alford, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Dexter's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 17-10. As for Kennett, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-13.

As of now, neither Dexter nor the Indians have any future games scheduled.
