It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Torres can now relate to. They fell just short of the Wonderful College Prep Academy Wolves by a score of 3-2 on Thursday. The Toros' defeat signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Torres actually scored more points across those five sets (105-99), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The match finished with set scores of 13-25, 26-24, 20-25, 25-22, 15-9.

It was another big night for Daniela Macias, who had 20 kills, 13 digs, three blocks, and three aces for Wonderful College Prep Academy. That's the most blocks Macias has posted since back in August. Samantha Maldonado was another key player, getting 14 kills, 12 digs, and two aces.

Torres' loss dropped their record down to 18-12. As for Wonderful College Prep Academy, they pushed their record up to 28-8-2 with the win, which was their 13th straight at home.

As of now, neither Torres nor the Wolves have any future games scheduled.
