Football Recap: Forest Hills Eastern Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Forest Hills Eastern extended their losing streak to four on Friday, dropping them down to 3-5. They took a 31-21 hit to the loss column at the hands of the West Catholic Falcons. If the Hawks were looking for revenge after losing 24-23 to the Falcons when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

As for West Catholic, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-1. Those home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 11.7 points on average over those games.

It was another big night for Connor Olszewski, who rushed for 123 yards on only 15 carries. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 123 rushing yards.

Looking ahead, Forest Hills Eastern will head out on the road to challenge Reeths-Puffer at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Hawks will be up against the Rockets' rather soft defense (which has allowed 37.38 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for West Catholic, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Zeeland West at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
