Volleyball Recap: Berkmar Comes Up Short

Berkmar had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell just short of the Collins Hill Eagles by a score of 2-1 on Thursday. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it seven in a row.

Among those leading the charge was Jalissa Woods, who had seven aces.

Berkmar will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on South Gwinnett at 7:00 p.m. on the 19th. As for Collins Hill, they have already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Meadowcreek on the 7th.
