Basketball Recap: Ogden Comes Up Short

Ogden was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 64-62 heartbreaker at the hands of the Woodward-Granger Hawks. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Tuesday (58), the Bulldogs still had to take the loss.

Ogden's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Woodward-Granger, with the victory, they broke their eight-game losing streak and moved their record to 1-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ogden will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Madrid at 7:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Woodward-Granger will also get a bit of a break before their next matchup: they'll face off against Clarke at 5:00 p.m. on January 6, 2025.
