Baseball Recap: Airport Takes a Loss

Monday just wasn't the day for Airport's offense. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Riverview Pirates on Monday. The Jets just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Airport's defeat dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Riverview, their record now sits at 2-15.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Airport will host St. Mary Catholic Central at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Falcons/Kestrels' pitching crew has only allowed 3.6 runs per game this season, so the Jets' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Riverview, they will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Milan at 4:30 p.m.
