Recap: Millville Thunderbolts vs. Wildwood Warriors
The Millville Thunderbolts lost against the Wildwood Warriors back in January of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Millville took a 52-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of Wildwood. Millville has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Wildwood to victory, but perhaps none more so than Junior Hans, who scored 19 points along with six rebounds and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Brian Cunniff, who scored 16 points along with seven rebounds.
Millville has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-8 record this season. As for Wildwood, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-6.
Millville the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Bridgeton at 5:30 p.m. on January 29th. Wildwood's road trip will continue as they head out to face Pitman at 5:30 p.m. on January 30th. Pitman has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 208 points over their last three games.
